A farmer, Tom Lasker, finds a sailboat made of materials unknown to science buried in his wheatfield. When he and a team of friends and scientists look for a boathouse, they find it on a neighboring Sioux reservation. The discoveries cause a national uproar, and Tom has to persuade the president not to desecrate the Sioux reservation or destroy the mysterious artifacts.
