The Prophecy of the Destroyer foretold that Axis would conquer his brother and claim the future land of Tencendor. It did not foretell, however, the presence of two women Axis would love, or the evil Goragel, who wields the prophecy to force Axis to make a choice between them: his queen, Faraday, the wife of his late half-brother--and Azhure, the mother of his children, whom he truly loves.
