Having designed a series of robots that look exactly like figures from history, a scientist and his partners begin to question the morality of their profession after two seemingly unrelated incidents. First, they learn that their lone customer is a millionaire who seems to have a very ulterior motive. Then, their recreation of Abraham Lincoln is not too keen on being sold, preferring to have his own freedom.
