Sanctuary
This is the final volume of the Dragon Jousters trilogy, which adds magic and dragons to a landscape and culture inspired both by Egypt and the myths of Atlantis. The evil Magi have taken over Alta, draining the country of its magic and employing that magic to enforce their reign. Those who remain of the Altan dragon-Jousters, including wing-leader Kiron, have settled in the legendary desert city of Sanctuary, where they are soon joined by other refugees fleeing the Magi. Eventually, the dwellers of Sanctuary will forge itself into Alta`s final hope of driving out its invaders.
